Not just creative, creative. More than scrapbooks and sketch pads. Creative problem solving—an out-of-the-box type of approach to all challenges and obstacles encountered. Nuts-and-bolts creative. Program your way out of a problem creative. Challenge what it means to be creative, creative.

Throughout life I’ve always done things a bit differently. This doesn’t always work out, but it has always allowed me to learn something. To grow in one manner or another.

And, for the record, I’ve been known to sketch too.

Through analysis comes better understanding. Understanding of the problem, the scenario, the data. Analysis provides clarity, allowing for better decision making, more complete conclusions, or more certain reporting. In short: analysis allows for better deliverables.

Analytical without indecision or delay means concise reporting and complete exploration. It means better results.

Having a wide network of resources requires an open mind and a creative approach. Eliminate no opportunities—keep all options on the table. There is no wrong approach, just more effective ones. Once you’ve identified the best tools for the job—the best people to ask, programs to utilize, knowledgebases to query—then you can effectively compile a solution.

Being resourceful means leaving no stone unturned and packing away assets for use; either immediately or in the future.

A truly resourceful individual knows there’s no shame in an unconventional approach to a problem if the results are accurate and timely. (Within the bounds of what is moral, legal, and ethical—of course.)
